IPP to bring jobs in country
LAHORE: Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan says his party will bring nobility, civility, and decency to politics, unlike Imran Khan.
He said that it is high time to abandon criticism and focus on positive development in the country. Lamenting about 40 years of record unemployment in the country, he said that unemployment is eating away at the country like termites and poses a significant challenge for the upcoming government. He said that the IMF, in its report, also mentioned an alarming 8.5 per cent employment rate in Pakistan.
Speaking at public meetings in NA-117 on Sunday, Mr Khan said that the masses should make the right decision on Feb 8. He added that the IPP, after coming into power, would create more than 10 million jobs in the private and public sectors. He stated that the state and politics can no longer afford intolerance, hatred, abuse, and bullets in society.
Therefore, all politicians need to go beyond political affiliations and foster mutual respect, national unity, and solidarity. He assured the voters that a master plan would be prepared and implemented to solve the problems of Shahdrah on a long-term basis, prioritizing change in education, health, and other sectors through concrete policies.
The IPP president expressed solidarity with Kashmiris as Kashmir Day falls on Monday and asserted that every citizen stands with the cause of independence, demanding international organizations to move forward on this 75-year-old burning issue.
