Law ministry officials, AAG discuss digitisation of cases

PESHAWAR: A delegation of ministry of law and justice has visited the attorney general’s office in Peshawar High Court building regarding the system of case management and digitalisation of cases data all over Pakistan.

According to a press release issued here, the delegation was headed by additional secretary law and justice Owais Nouman Kundi and also included director general liaison monitoring cell Khuram Shehzad, director Jamal Shah, additional director Gulfam Hameed and deputy director Ali Abbas.

The delegation met Additional Attorney General Sanaullah Khan along with his team of law officers, who briefed the delegation about their performance.

The delegation appreciated the efforts of Mr Sanaullah at Peshawar for mainstreaming various important cases where interest of the federal government and huge amount of public money was involved.

The delegation also praised his efforts for establishment of special benches for deciding fiscal matters by the Peshawar High Court at its principal seat.

The AAG Sanaullah Khan informed the visiting delegation that the proposals they had been working on had already been implemented in Peshawar and the attorney general’s office here had digitalised all the cases’ data.

He also apprised the delegation about lack of staff and other administrative issues faced by his office to which the delegation showed its full cooperation.
