Reserved seats only allocated to political parties with parliamentary presence: Azam Nazir Tarar
PML-N leader Azam Nazir Tarar has said that the Constitution clearly states that only political parties with a parliamentary presence — which means they came to the National Assembly after winning elections — were entitled to reserved seats.
In a media talk, he said the Sunni Ittehad Council — which has allied with the PTI in the Centre, Punjab and KP — was rejected by the public as the party had failed to get a single seat in the NA.
