Eleven killed, 50 injured in Rafah strike on tent, says health ministry

Eleven people have been killed and at least 50 injured after an Israeli army air attack “targeting displaced persons’ tents” next to the entrance of the Emirati Maternity Hospital in Tal Al-Sultan, Rafah City, Gaza’s ministry of health said in a statement.

Abdel Fattah Abu Marhi, the head of the paramedic unit at the hospital, was killed in the attack, according to Al Jazeera.

The ministry added that children were among the injured.
