Speaking in the National Assembly, Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal also condemned the raid on Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s residence.

He further demanded that journalists currently under arrest, including Asad Ali Toor and anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan, be released.

Mengal had not cast a vote for the election of the prime minister.
