Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated his Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif on being elected as the prime minister.

In a post on X, Modi wrote: “Congratulations to Shehbaz on being sworn in as the prime minister of Pakistan.”
