TESTING CENTRES: Quetta serves as the sole testing centre in Balochistan for both Federal Public Service Commi- ssion (FPSC) and the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) exams. Candidates from remote areas travel thousands of kilometres to the provincial capital for these crucial exams, often bearing a substantial financial burden. The journey to Quetta entails not only transportation costs, but also expenses for accommodation, meals and other required necessities. Many candidates simply cannot afford such a burden, and have to skip the exams. There is an urgent need to establish more testing centres in the province to reduce the financial burden on the aspirants, and to ensure due accessibility and inclusivity in the recruitment process.

EDUCATIONAL NEGLECT: The students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Kunchiti Dasht, a well-populated village between Turbat and Gwadar, are deprived of their basic academic facilities, such as proper classrooms, tables, chairs, school halls, libraries and even water. This deprivation directly violates the educational rights of the students. Despite consistent pleas, the authorities have not taken any action. These persistent problems are having a negative impact on the students’ academic journey. The current govern- ment must ensure that all students in rural areas have access to necessary resources for a quality education.

GAS SUPPLY: The people of Karachi are facing a lot of difficulties due to inadequate natural gas supply. Cooking meals for families has become a herculean task, especially in winters when the gas demand is high. Moreover, commercial entities and industries are also bearing the brunt of the crisis that affects their operations and productivity. The authorities concerned should resolve the matter and ensure uninterrupted supply of natural gas to Karachiites.
