The procrastination dilemma
This is regarding the cover article “The procrastination dilemma” by Ramsha Mujeeb (YW, February 3). The article offers valuable insights to those who procrastinate and leave important tasks undone for no apparent reason.
Effective time management is important to combat laziness. Prioritising tasks is the key; it’s important to tackle important matters first, such as studying before engaging in leisure activities. Procrastination often transforms simple tasks into daunting ones and complicates already difficult ones.
Therefore, individuals prone to procrastination should make a conscious effort to cease this habit immediately and regain control of their actions.

A good turn
This is regarding the story “A good turn” by Sidra Sozer (YW, February 24).
The narrative beautifully emphasised the significance of extending a helping hand to those in need, particularly if we are in a better position than them. When we encounter individuals selling goods or services to make ends meet, we must not hesitate to purchase items from them, even if we may not have an immediate need for those things. This would not only provide them with financial support, but also reaffirm their sense of dignity and worth in society.
Such acts of kindness foster a sense of compassion and solidarity within our communities, reminding us of our shared humanity and the responsibility we bear towards one another.
