E-stamp papers to be issued
ISLAMABAD: The capital administration has decided to issue e-stamp papers in Islamabad.
The administration said that after issuance of the e-stamp paper the people will be able to use them for property and other transactions instead of manual stamp paper.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon conducted a meeting with the representative of the Punjab Bank.
Briefing regarding e-stamping is also given to the DC by the representatives of the bank.
The DC said soon the people of Islamabad will be able to use computerised stamp paper. The e-stamp paper can be easily verified by barcode, he added.
