No respite from hot weather in Sindh

KARACHI: While the maximum temperature in Karachi dropped by 4.2 degree Celsius from Saturday’s 40.2°C, there was no respite for citizens on Sunday from harsh weather conditions.

The maximum temperature recorded in Karachi on Sunday was 36.1°C with 52 per cent humidity due to which the feel-like temperature was much higher.

Mercury soared to 45°C and above in at least 10 cities of Sindh.

Jacobabad was the hottest place in the province on Sunday where temperature was 47°C.

The temperature in Dadu, Padidan and Moen­jodaro was 46°C; Larkana, Sakrand, Baena­zirabad and Khairpur (45.5°C); Sukkur and Rohri (45°C); Chhor and Mithi (44°C); Hyderabad (43°C) and Mirph­urkhas (41.5°C).
