DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man was killed and another injured on Wednesday in firing by their rivals on Sessions Court Road in Civil Lines police precincts where all important government offices are located.

Reports said police responded timely and arrested two assailants with weapons.

The injured, Mushtaq (45), and the body of Hanif (35) were shifted to hospital.

On the instructions of Dera Ghazi Khan District Police Officer Syed Ali, Civil Lines police have started legal proceedings.

SP Investigation Bakhtiar Ahmad Khan, the SDPO and the SHO visited the spot.

The Crime Scene Unit reached the spot and collected the evidence.

Further investigation is under way.
