KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon on Monday said that “competent and course qualified officers” would be deputed at police stations to bring a ‘positive change’ in the policing and promotion of people-friendly atmosphere there.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review proposed reforms to be introduced at the level of police stations.

Under the proposed reforms, staff/police officers would be posted for ‘longer tenure’ at police stations.

The meeting was informed that CCTV cameras would be installed inside and outside the police stations.
