Declutter your heart

This is concerning the article “Declutter your heart” by Ramsha Mujib (YW, April 20). I admire the writer for writing on a topic that is very important for young readers. It tells us that we should not only remove clutter from our lives, but also from our mind.

Clutter in the heart and mind means accumulation of negative feelings like hate, jealousy and gossip. If we get rid of these emotions, we’ll feel refreshed and have new energy to live life and be a good example for others.

The plastic pandemic

This is concerning the cover article “The plastic pandemic” by Shahmeer Asif (YW, April 20). Even though we know plastic is really bad for our planet and all living things, people still use a lot of harmful plastic stuff.

The article explains how we can stop using microplastics like single-use plastic bottles and plates, synthetic fabrics and processed food, and keep ourselves healthy.

It’s sad that even though we know plastic is bad for our health, we still use it a lot, like plastic bags that we use once and then discard carelessly.

The article “The plastic pandemic” by Shahmeer Asif reminded us to stop using plastic, especially plastic bags, and suggested using fabric or paper bags instead. I believe we can all take this one small step to help save the planet.

Hard work pays off

This is concerning the story “Hard work pays off” by Ayman Siddiqui (YW, April 20th). The writer talked about how hard work always pays off in the end. The article also stressed the importance of studying in groups and asking teachers for help.

The story made me realise that discussing what I know with friends can help me understand better. I used to work alone and quietly, but I wasn’t satisfied with the results. This story taught me and others that working with others can lead to better results.

The story “Hard work pays off” by Ayman Siddiqui teaches us that hard work and positive thinking lead to success. It tells us that we can solve problems by practicing them repeatedly until we understand. So if you’re motivated to learn something, you can do so. With hard work, a positive mindset and a different approach, anything is possible for everyone.
