Over 30 madressah students hospitalised in New Murree

RAWALPINDI: As many as 36 madressah students were hospitalised after suffering from food poisoning in New Murree on Wednesday. However, all of the victims of food poisoning were stated to be in stable condition.

According to emergency services, initially an emergency call related to the sickness of two students of a madressah were received. Responding to the emergency call, a motorbike with an ambulance was dispatched to New Murree. It said that after the emergency staff reached the scene, they discovered that a total of 30 students had suffered food poisoning.

Shortly afterwards, twelve sick children were shifted to a nearby private clinic while 24 students were shifted to another private hospital. Later, all of the affected students were shifted to Civil Hospital Murree.
