RAWALPINDI: Mr J.A. Rahim has been removed from his office of Minister for Production and Commerce by the Prime Minister … it was officially stated today [July 3]. Mr Rafi Raza, member of the Senate, has been appointed Minister for Production and Commerce. He was sworn in this morning. The oath of office was administered by the President. Mr Raza was appointed as Special Assistant to President Bhutto in December 1971. He continued in this office till July 20, 1973, when he resigned on having been elected to the Senate.
