MUZAFFARGARH: Layyah police registered the case against Sunni Ittehad Council MNA and PTI leader Malik Owais Haider Jakhar on charges of interfering with the government work, blocking the road and issuing threats to officials.

District Officer Industry Layyah Kashif Nisar said he was busy checking vehicles along with his team on the road when they found the vehicle full of Irani diesel oil.

He asked the driver to park the vehicle in the DC office. On the way to the DC office, a man, identified as Samiullah arrived on a motorcycle and stopped him. Samiullah said he was a man of MNA Jhakkar and asked the officer to let the vehicle go while issuing threats to him.

The FIR said the MNA Jakhar’s man interfered with the government work and the case was registered with the City Police Station.
