As the PTI Lahore concluded its protest, another party workers group led by Khalid Gujjar reached the press club. However, police arrested Khalid Gujjar.

Meanwhile, PTI Punjab information secretary Shaukat Basra chided Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her tirade against the judges of superior courts, saying the PML-N leaders only accept court decisions that favour them.

In a statement, Mr Basra said PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and CM Maryam Nawaz had been stunned by the court decisions.

Responding to federal information minister Attaullah Tarar’s presser, the PTI spokesman said the Article 6 proceedings should be launched against those who did not hold elections within 90 days after the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies were dissolved, including caretaker prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Punjab interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
