Two policemen, polio worker injured in Swat attack
SWAT: Four persons, including two policemen, a polio worker and a civilian, were injured on Wednesday night when unknown miscreants launched an unprovoked attack on police personnel stationed at a checkpost in Landakai area of Swat.
According to DPO Swat, the checkpost is strategically located at the foot of the mountainous region spanning district Malakand and Swat. “The checkpost in Swat came under attack from the mountainside. However, the police personnel deployed at the checkpots responded promptly and effectively, repelling the assault. Polio workers are stationed at different checkposts to vaccinate children of the travelling families.
