DADU: Hyderabad DIG Tariq Razzak Dharejo has formed a four-member joint investigation team (JIT) headed by Jamshoro SSP Mohammad Tariq Nawaz for the July 16 explosion in the malkhana of the Jamshoro police station.

Four police officers were injured and six vehicles were destroyed in the blast that had also caused partial collapse of the Malkhana portion within the police station.

The other members of the JIT are Kotri DSP Shahnawaz and the DSP of the Bomb Disposal Squad. It has been asked to submit its findings within seven days from being notified (on July 24).
