Conocarpus trees removed from courts

HYDERABAD: All conocarpus trees have been removed from the premises of civil and district judiciary under Sindh High Court’s directives, according to an official announcement. In place of old trees, over 150 indigenous species like neem, tali and peepal were planted in the sessions and civil courts to preserve a healthy environment.

Justice Agha Faisal of SHC’s Hyderabad circuit, along with members of the District Bar Association, planted trees in a campaign on July 23.
