Pucar-15 helpline launched in Haripur
HARIPUR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Akhtar Hayat Khan said that the provincial police was making all-out efforts to gain confidence of citizens by providing them help in emergency situations as the model of public friendly policing was the need of the hour.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Pucar-15 helpline service in Haripur here on Friday.
Regional Police Officer Tahir Ayub Khan, senior police officials and others were present on the occasion.
He said that the launch of Pucar-15 service for the convenience of the public was of prime importance and the KP police took the initiative to strengthen public-police relationship.
Sharing the objectives of the Pucar-15 helpline, the IGP said that the service would be available to people of Haripur round the clock, providing rapid response and emergency help to ensure a sense of security among local residents.
