RAWALPINDI: The first direct flight of PIA departed from Quetta for Jeddah on Wednesday with 141 Umrah pilgrims on board.

A PIA spokesman said the national flag carrier has started two weekly direct flights from Quetta to Jeddah. With the launching of these flights, special faci­li­ties will be available, es­­pecially for Umrah pilgrims, he said.­
