Public meeting held to resolve citizens’ complaints: police

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Syed Ali Raza listened to the complaints of the public as well as police officials during the open kutchery (public meeting) held at his office.

Mr Raza said that interactions during ‘open kutchery’ would help promote friendly-policing and will also ensure self-accountability and immediate resolution of citizens’ problems. “Such interaction would be continued in future to provide maximum relief to the citizens,” he added.

He directed officers to send reports concerning the complaints to his offices in the given time frame. He further said that strict action will be taken against officials involved in bribery or corruption.
