LOWER DIR: A man was killed when roof of an under-construction girls’ school collapsed in Shagai area of Maidan here on Sunday.

A rescue team shifted the injured to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him as dead.

An official of the communication and the works department told this scribe that the deceased, identified as Mohammad Ali Jan, 50, hailing from Brawal area of Upper Dir, was inspecting shuttering of the building when it collapsed.
