KARACHI: Senior puisne judge Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto took the oath as the acting chief justice of the Sindh High Court on Monday.

Sindh Govenror Kamran Tessori administered the oath in a simple ceremony held at Governor House.

The event was attended by SHC judges, representatives of the legal fraternity and other distinguished guests.

Justice Phulpoto will remain acting CJ during the leave period of SHC Chief Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui.
