ACCIDENT: Three members of a family died in a road accident near Chak 217 TDA, Fatehpur, Layyah.

Imran (20) was riding a motorcycle while her mother Rasheed Bibi (40) and sister Fatima (8) were the pillions. The speeding motorcycle rammed into a tractor-trolley from its rear side and all three of the motorcycle riders died on impact.

The locals called the rescuers who shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Fatehpur, before handing them over to the deceased’s family.

PROTEST: A woman protested against police in Layyah for supporting the accused who had allegedly kidnapped and sold her.
