Jordanian King Abdullah II directed the new Prime Minister Jafar Hassan’s government to do all it could for the country’s Palestinian neighbours, Al Jazeera reports.

“Jordan stands resolutely against the war on Gaza and the violations in the West Bank and Jerusalem,” the Jordanian King wrote in a letter.
