Monsoon magic

This is with reference to the cover story “Monsoon magic” by Mirha Asif (YW, August 3). It was indeed an interesting read.

The article conveyed the message that we should enjoy every season, but we should pay special attention to the monsoon as it brings various health risks, such as waterborne diseases, viral infections and mosquito-borne illnesses.

Apart from that, there are serious consequences if we don’t stay away from poles and wires, because they can become dangerous during the monsoon due to the risk of electrocution or short circuits caused by water exposure.

It’s essential to be cautious and follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and always heed our parents’ advice.

This is regarding the story “Keep your promises” by Hafsa M. Faisal (YW, July 27). The story was both interesting and enlightening, as it showed how small issues can lead to significant relationship problems.

Never break someone’s trust — always return what you borrow and maintain others’ trust. Keeping your promises is crucial. By doing that, you demonstrate reliability and integrity, which helps others trust you, whether they are friends, family or colleagues. Trust is essential for healthy relationships.
