SUKKUR: A man, his young son and cousin were killed and five others of his relatives, including two women, were wounded when an enraged neighbour stormed into house and fired indiscriminately at the gamily over a petty dispute in Aftab Colony, Ghotki district, on Thursday.

Family sources said the dispute between Sheikh and Kolachi communities, who were neighbours, broke out over a seemingly lighter argument over a child’s purchasing goodies from a grocery in the locality.

Soon afterwards Allah Wasayo Sheikh along with his companions stormed into Imran Kolachi’s house and sprayed all the inmates with bullets, killing Imran, his 8-year-old son Farman Kolachi and his cousin Fida Hussain Kolachi and injuring Fida’s wife Ms Sumeran, a youth Amir Kolachi, Kamran Kolachi, 7, Anees Kolachi, 4, and a neighbour Ms Hooran Bozdar, who tried to pacify the attackers, sustained gunshot wounds, they said.
