Youth summit concludes at Malakand varsity

PESHAWAR: Three-day 5th edition of the ‘Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit’ concluded at the University of Malakand.

According to a statement issued on Friday, the summit was carried out in collaboration with Metrix Pakistan, Directorate of Youth Affairs and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board to motivate the youth and encourage innovation in different sectors.

The summit featured keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops focused on cutting-edge areas such as cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital marketing, it added.

Experts from across the country shared insights on protecting digital information and moderation of data, combating cyber threats and leveraging AI to transform industries. Professionals also shared strategies for effective online marketing and brand building.

The statement further said that more than 10,000 students from all over the country attended the summit, thereby emerging as the most populous congregation of the young brains within the country.

Special Assistant to KP CM on Prisons Humayun Khan inaugurated the summit. In his address, he highlighted how the government had prioritised the issues of the youth and the promotion of entrepreneurship.

The CM aide declared that the provincial government would provide interest-free loans to the youth with business plans through the Directorate of Youth Affairs, the statement added.
