Three schemes approved

LAHORE: The Planning and Development Board’s Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Friday approved three development schemes with an estimated cost of Rs11.236 billion.

The PDWP’s 38th meeting presided over by P&D Board acting chairman Dr Asif Tufail approved revised Phase I of Smart Safe Cities Project at a cost of Rs5.181 billion.

A development scheme “Rehabilitation / Improvement of Pall Chowk to Uchali Road (Length: 55km, Khushab district) was approved with a cost of Rs3.095 billion. The rehabilitation of a dualised road from Sargodha to Makhdoom Interchange (M2) (Right Carriage Way, Length: 42km, Sargodha district) (Revised) was approved at a cost of Rs2.96 billion.
