Session on stress management held
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), in collaboration with Maroof International Hospital, held an informative session on ‘Stress and Depression Management and Oral Health’ at the chamber house on Saturday.
The session aimed at equipping participants with practical strategies for coping with mental health challenges, fostering a supportive community for those affected, says a press release.
RCCI President Usman Shaukat, Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi and Vice President Fahad Barlas warmly welcomed guests and attendees. Executive committee members, distinguished members and a large number of audience attended the informative session.
Guest speakers Dr Sania, a psychiatrist, and Dr Waheedullah shared valuable insights on managing stress and depression, emphasising on the importance of mental health awareness.
Dr Waheedullah also led a segment on oral health, highlighting the connection between oral hygiene and overall mental well-being.
He discussed effective dental care practices and the importance of regular check-ups to prevent complications.
