SP Beenish Fatima wins laurels

RAWALPINDI: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Superintendent of Police (SP) Beenish Fatima was honoured with a global award by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in recognition of her professional services as a police officer.

She was bestowed with the honour during the IACP conference held in Boston, US, says a press release.

SP Beenish Fatima has proved with her hard work and skills that Pakistani women can show their talent at the global level.

The IACP 2024 Award is a global recognition of the leadership skills and professional services of police officers.

According to a police spokesman, SP Beenish Fatima is the only Pakistani woman officer who has received this honour representing the entire country.

IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar congratulated SP Beenish Fatima on this achievement, and said she was a valuable asset not only of Punjab police but also of Pakistan.

The IG Punjab further said such talented officers would play an important role in police leadership in future.

The International Association of Chiefs of Police is the world’s largest organisation that recognises leadership qualities of police officers, and each year the best police officers under the age of 40 are selected for this award.
