Names of Waziristan journalists removed from Nacta website

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: The names of three local journalists have been removed from the list of Schedule Four and website of National Counter-Terrorism Authority (Nacta).

Addressing a meeting of the office-bearers of Mehsud Press Club here the other day, Farooq Mehsud, the president of the press club and one of the htree journalists, said that their names were removed from the list of Schedule Four and Nacta website. Besides him, the names of former president of press club Ishtiaq Mehsud and Aslam Mehsud were also included in the list.

The district administration of Upper South Waziristan had sent a letter to provincial home department, for removal of their names from the list.

CAREER COUSELLING: A career counselling event was held on Thursday in Barwand area of Sarwekai tehsil in Upper South Waziristan to guide youth and students in their future planning.

The event was held with the support of MPA Asif Khan Mehsud and Deputy Commissioner Saleem Jan. A large number of youth and students attended the event.

The district youth officer, Mohammad Farooq, on the occasion highlighted the importance of career counselling. He said that many young people failed to achieve their goals owing to a lack of career awareness.
