Two convicted in murder case

DADU: The Model Criminal Court of Dadu on Saturday sentenced a murder suspect to 14-year imprisonment and his accomplice to five-year imprisonment.

The prime accused, Shahid Leghari, was awarded 14-year rigorous imprisonment and Niaz Jamali a five-year rigorous imprisonment for killing a young man, Danish Jamali, upon offering resistance to their attempt to snatch his motorcycle two years ago in the Mazdoorabad locality of Dadu city.

The court acquitted two other accused, Farid Leghari and Wahid Leghari for want of evidence.

The case was registered at Dadu’s A-Section police station.

Boy electrocuted

A boy was electrocuted when he touched a live wire in his school located in Charo village of Dadu taluka on Saturday.

The boy, 10-years-old Ayaz, son of Ghulam Qadir Loond, was a class-III student.
