Visitors told Dawn that the local artisans and craftsmen were highly talented, professional and hardworking, but they needed to be given opportunities to exhibit their skills. They demanded of the government to provide these people with all possible resources to generate revenue for the national kitty.
The visitors also asked the government to encourage the entrepreneurs and craftsmen to contribute to the progress and prosperity of the region.
Terming the expo a big step towards the economic wellbeing of local artisans, the visitors said it helped the artisans and businesspeople of the district to market their products.
The visitors urged the youth of Charsadda to introduce their products at the national and international level through the use of modern technology.
On this occasion, Charsadda chamber president Major retired Abdullah Naeem said that it was the first time that a business expo was held in Charsadda. He promised to continue to organise such events every year.
