NAWABSHAH: Celebratory firing at a wedding ceremony in Kandiaro town of Naushahro Feroze on Sunday left an uncle of the bride wounded.

The victim, Irfan Qureshi, was busy entertaining gusts at the programme in Syed Mohallah when someone started aerial firing in jubilation. He suffered a gunshot wound and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the Peoples Medical University Hospital said that his condition was serious.
