Applications for ‘Honhaar’ programme being scrutinised
ISLAMABAD: National Skills University Islamabad is taking part in scrutinising applications for the Chief Minister Punjab ‘Honhaar’ Undergraduate Scholarship Programme.
The Institutional Committee for Verification and Scrutiny of Student Applications for the Chief Minister Punjab “Honhaar” Undergraduate Scholarship Programme convened at FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Islamabad Campus, to evaluate and recommend eligible candidates, says a press release.
It said that meeting was held under Additional Registrar at National Skills University Salman Mirza, Islamabad, who was nominated as the focal person by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and the Higher Education Department (HED).
The Committee, tasked with reviewing applications based on stringent criteria established by the Punjab Higher Education Commission, comprised Aamir Munir, Assistant Professor of the Electrical Engineering Department, and Fida ul Hassan Shah, Manager at FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus. This team of experts scrutinized the applications of around 140 students, conducting interviews and evaluations to determine eligibility. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Founding Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University said that university has been playing its role for promotion of technology.
