Painting exhibition displays positive image of country
“It gave me immense pleasure to witness the creative artworks of young artists featuring variety of topics in a befitting manner as most have crafted images with focus on boosting country’s soft image in the world,” he said.
The participants showed keen interest in the art pieces put on display and also shared critical comments on all the artworks featuring different images of the society. They said that role of visual art was essential for highlighting ideas and concepts in a creative manner as both impressionists and expressionists showcased their in-depth view through their own lenses.
“Visual art is a deeper and higher lens of society through which outlook of people could be better painted on the canvass as strokes are representative of human feelings and emotions whirling down in charming colours and weird lines,” the visitors remarked.
The chairman Crescent Art Gallery, Javed Nasir, said that the event was arranged with the objective to bring out creative strength of young artists and raise awareness regarding social issues through visual art.
Senior artists and scholars shed light on the role of visual art in the society. They said that positive image of the society could be highlighted through artworks and should be encouraged for the purpose.
The governor also lauded the organisers of the event for motivating young artists to craft beautiful art pieces. “It is really worth appreciating to engage youth in positive activities,” he added.
