Young man gunned down in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT: Unknown armed suspects killed a young man in Sherkhel area on Friday.
Police said that Kifayatullah, 22, and his brother Nisar Khan, 26, were sitting inside their guestroom when two armed suspects came there and opened fire on them. Nisar was critically injured while his brother narrowly escaped the attack.
Police said the injured was moved to the DHQ hospital but he succumbed to his injuries before arriving at the medical facility. Kifayatullah told police that his family had no enmity with anyone. Shahbazkhel police station registered a case and started investigation.
TRAINING SESSION: A training session on invasive monitoring in the intensive care unit (ICU) was organised by the nursing department of Khalifa Gul Nawaz hospital on the hospital’s Bannu campus.
The purpose of the training was to familiarise staff nurses and students with invasive monitoring techniques and enhance their skills for improved patient care. The principles and techniques of intrusive monitoring were explained by ICU in-charge Adnan and nursing director Zaiqa Gul, with particular attention to any potential issues that arose during their use.
Additionally, they instructed the participants on how to install and maintain invasive monitoring equipment as well as how to fix any issues that might arise.
Ms Gul asked the nursing staff to use the techniques and skills they learnt at the training session for provision of standard healthcare to patients in the intensive care unit.
