Two brothers shot dead over ‘enmity’ in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two brothers were shot dead over a personal enmity in village Kot Shah Nawaz area of Tehsil Daraban Kalan on Friday.
A police official said as a result of clash between the two rival groups, two brothers Irfan and Mohammad Ramzan were killed on the spot.
According to the police, the incident took place in the limits of Chaudhwan police station. The accused fled the scene after committing crime. Police are busy in investigation.
PENSION PAYMENT: The Gomal University’s top authorities were ordered by the Peshawar High Court to settle the pension payment dispute after consulting with the pensioners’ committee and submitting a formal agreement to the court.
The Peshawar High Court Dera Bench heard the pensioners’ writ suit in this regard on October 29. The bench directed the varsity’s vice chancellor, registrar, and finance director to meet with the pensioners’ committee in order to draft a written agreement pertaining to pension payments.
The varsity’s vice chancellor and other senior officials assured the court in a written reply that from this month, pensioners would start receiving their full monthly pensions, along with an additional Rs 7 million each month to be provided to the pension account of the university.
