Court orders case against SHO for trespassing on man’s house
BAHAWALPUR: Burewala Additional Sessions Judge Mirza Shahid Baig on a petition ordered registration of a case against Sheikh Fazil station house officer (SHO) for trespassing on the house of the petitioner during a raid.
According to the petitioner, Mehmood-ul-Hassan, the SHO, along with some other persons, illegally raided his house and violated his privacy, to arrest a man Ali Hassan, whose bail was rejected by the court.
He alleged that the SHO also subjected the women of his family to torture and harassment.
BOOKED: Burewala police booked a woman, along with three others, for murder of her husband, who was an army man.
According to police, the victim, Farman, had a family dispute with his wife Zeenat.
When Farman came to her house the other day, Zaeenat, along with three others, allegedly shot him dead.
The police registered an FIR against the victim’s wife and her three unidentified accomplices, without any arrest so far.
MURDER CASE SOLVED: Fateh Shah police in Vehari district claimed to have solved a blind murder case, arresting a woman, along with her male friend, for their alleged involvement in her father’s murder.
According to Vehari district police spokesperson, the suspect, Sadia Amir, after her arrest, confessed to have killed her father Amir Ali Shah for refusing to allow her to marry her friend, co-suspect Wasim Gulzar.
The police say that Sadia would monitored her father’s routine and and informed theco-suspect Wasim about it. Wasim chased Mr Shah for about 15kms and as he reached near 465/EB village during night time, he shot him dead and fled away.
The police also claimed to have recovered the pistol and motorcycle used by Wasim in the crime.
