Nazir Jr appeals to PCB for medical help
LAHORE: Former Test off-spinner Nazir Junior is struggling with different health problems and needs immediate medical help from the Pakistan Cricket Board, his son Nouman Nazir has said.
The 78-year-old Nazir, who played 14 Tests for Pakistan while supervising many matches as an international umpire, was injured in a road accident five years ago.
Nouman said his father now fighting against different diseases and appealed to the PCB for his medical treatment.
“The PCB had helped him a lot in the past but since the last year, we’ve been taking care of the medical care,” he added.
Nazir picked 34 Test wickets for Pakistan while he also played in four One-day Internationals, claiming three wickets.
