KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Sunday announced that it would stage a rally on Nov 30 at Nishtar Park to mark the foundation day of the party.

The decision was made at a meeting of the party’s Karachi chapter.

“A grand public meeting will be held at Nishtar Park in Karachi on Foundation Day, where party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address via video link,” a statement issued after the meeting said.

PPP-Karachi president and Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani thanked the people of Karachi for reposing their confidence in the party during the recent LG by-elections held in the province.
