‘No differences between PPP and PML-N’
LARKANA: MPA Jamil Soomro, political secretary to Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, said on Wednesday there were no differences between PML-N government in the Centre and PPP.
Mr Soomro said at a press conference at Larkana Press Club that PPP leadership was assured of acceptance of all its demands by PML-N and the PPP chairman had on different occasions raised voice when any deviation from the promises was noticed.
He said the PML-N’s government in the centre was a minority one and it should hence accept genuine demands of its allies.
Unfortunately, instead of remaining in the province to restore peace in the wake of Parachnar incident, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister was participating in sit-ins in Islamabad, he said.
He said in response to a question that PPP was against six canals project on Indus River and termed the protests propaganda against the party. The party chairman and Sindh chief minister had expressed their reservations and called for halting the controversial projects, he said.
Sindh was already not getting its share in water in accordance with the 1991’s water apportionment accord, he said.
He said that Bilawal Bhutto would address gatherings in Lahore in connection with the 57th foundation day of PPP and his speech would be relayed throughout the country through video-link.
He said that arrangements were being made for people to assemble at Municipal Stadium Larkana to listen to the party chairman’s speech.
