Free medical camp held

LAKKI MARWAT: International Police Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Red Crescent Society jointly held a free medical camp at Iqbal Shaheed police lines in Bannu city on Thursday.

Police officials and their family members visited the camp for free medical check-up by doctors along with availing free laboratory test facility and medicines. Regional Police Officer Imran Shahid and DPO Ziauddin Ahmed inaugurated the medical camp.

Pakistan Red Crescent Bannu secretary Behram Shehzada, district programme officer Idrees Khan, Zeenatullah Dawar, Dr Haroon Khan, Dr Amir Khan, Dr Reema Manzoor Dr Orooj Niaz and Dr Intekhab Alam were also present.

More than 300 police personnel and their family members including females and children were examined by the doctors at the camp. They were also provided with free medicines prescribed by physicians.

The regional and district police chiefs met doctors and paramedical staff and lauded the officials of Red Crescent Society to hold the free medical camp for policemen.

They said the provincial government was giving top priority to the welfare of the police force and such activities would continue in future.
