Flower exhibition starts in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The three-day Chrysanthemum flowers exhibition started at the Rose and Jasmine Garden on Friday.
The exhibition has been organised by the National Horticulture Society of Pakistan in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Chairman National Horticulture Society of Pakistan Dr Pervaiz Ahsan, Technical Secretary Asif Razaq, Secretary Fawad Hashmi and a large number of people associated with different schools of thought attended the event.
Vice Chairperson National Horticulture Society of Pakistan Asma Ismail Butt said a special flower exhibition was organised every year.
“Nature has always been the focus of human interest. Flowers and greenery are reflection of nature,” she said, adding that the culture of Pakistan will be presented in a unique way in this exhibition.
Asma Butt said food stalls featuring traditional Pakistani cuisine had also been set up. She expressed her special gratitude to CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa as well as other organisers, including PHA, PAF, Attock Refinery, CCB, RCB, NARC, ARID, ZTBL and KRL for their cooperation.
