Beyoncé’s Christmas Day halftime show
Beyoncé will perform at the halftime show for the Ravens-Texans football game on Christmas Day, streaming live on Netflix. The announcement came via social media from the Grammy-winning artist and the NFL.
The performance, taking place in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, will feature songs from her eighth album, Cowboy Carter, released in March. This will be the first live performance of tracks from the country album.
Additionally, Beyoncé made history with 11 Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year, making her the most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 to premiere this month
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 will hit theatres on December 20, with early fan screenings on December 19, featuring exclusive content.
The trailer teases Sonic, Knuckles and Tails battling Dr Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his twin, while also facing Shadow, a powerful new foe voiced by Keanu Reeves. Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba and Colleen O’Shaughnessey return as Sonic, Knuckles and Tails.
Taylor Swift ends an Era
Last weekend, after 149 concerts, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour came to a close with the final show at BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, Canada. The two-year adventure spanning 18 years of music provided happiness and magic as the singer traversed five continents.
As the show ended in a haze of confetti and a group hug from Swift and her dancers and singers, many fans stood in disbelief that it was over.
Taylor Swift’s shared one last message to the fans in BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, Canada, on the final night of her two-year tour was: “Vancouver, I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date, my beloved Eras Tour.”
Earlier in the night, Swift expressed gratitude to her fandom, describing the tour as an “adventure of a lifetime” and the legacy of the three hour plus show as joy, togetherness and love.
