NAWABSHAH: A mother allegedly slaughtered her twin sons, aged three and half years, in a locality on VIP road on Wednesday.

Police shifted the bodies to Peoples Medical University Hospital for autopsy after receiving information about the incident.

Airport police station’s SHO Sanaullah Panhwar told reporters that they found bodies of twin brothers identified as Mohammed Hamza and Mohammed Raza, 3.5 years old, with their throats slit, recovered a knife and took Ms Komal, mother of the deceased children, into custody for investigation.

Family sources said that the mother was mentally unstable.
