Hogwarts Legacy 2 to include HBO show elements
WB Games President David Haddad revealed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is a major priority, fuelled by the success of the first game. The sequel will include elements from the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series, though the exact connection remains unclear, as the game is set in the late 1800s/early 1900s and the show is based in the 1990s.
However, characters in both mediums could potentially overlap due to their long lifespans. The game’s success has also prompted Warner Bros. to focus on more Harry Potter content. While J.K. Rowling isn’t directly involved, Warner Bros. ensures her literary agent is kept informed about creative decisions. Details on the release window, platforms, and whether Hogwarts Legacy 2 will be a live-service game are still unknown.
